Artarmon

Artarmon was originally inhabited by the Cammeraygal people who used the land’s resources for fishing and hunting. In 1810, European settlement commenced in the area and development commenced.

Since then, it has become a fascinating mix of residential and commercial whilst sitting on a train line. In many ways, Artarmon is a divide between the heritage and the modern, the renters and the owners, and the residential and commercial. Much of this divide is at the train line.
